First, let me start off by welcoming and thanking everyone who has been monumental in inspiring me in the whole creative process of launching A Foster’s Hope. Being adopted and having gone through the foster care system, my passion and goal is simple.
To HELP children and young men and woman navigate life in foster care. My desire is to bring hope and share insight on how each child can overcome. We are more than a statistic.
As for me, my name is Darren Morris. I am a former foster child. I am Adopted into a family of 17 children. YES! 17. I’m a husband, father, a believer. I have seen the good, bad, and the ugly of the foster care system. In creating A Foster's Hope, I want to share stories of individuals such as myself who have gone through the system and made positive strides at becoming successful and overcoming the hardships, trauma, and craziness of being in foster care.
To every child who is reading this, YOU are cared for. You can overcome.
You have hope. Partner with me as I strive to bring hope to many.
Look out for my hope story in my next post.
